The client initially approached us to resolve persistent issues with their WordPress website, which frequently crashed and struggled with SEO challenges. After successfully bringing the site back online, further analysis revealed that simple fixes wouldn’t be enough to ensure long-term stability. The root of the problem lay in the site's foundation—a WordPress theme built for basic blogs rather than a structured, resource-driven medical information platform. Additionally, heavy reliance on third-party plugins had led to conflicts, performance issues, and instability, further compromising the site’s reliability. Another major concern was the search functionality, which was slow and inefficient, making it difficult for users to find relevant content on ankle conditions and treatments. Given that the website was meant to serve as both a comprehensive medical resource and a platform to promote Mr. Andrew Goldberg OBE as a leading authority in orthopaedic surgery, it was clear that the current setup was not fit for purpose. Simply rebuilding the site with a new WordPress theme would not solve these fundamental issues. Instead, a complete redevelopment was necessary to create a scalable, user-friendly platform that offered long-term stability, enhanced search capabilities, and a modernized user experience

To bring the Supernaut website to fruition, we converted the initial designs into a responsive and highly functional web experience. We utilized Next.js for its advanced capabilities in building scalable React applications. Its features, such as server-side rendering (SSR) and static site generation (SSG), ensured a fast, SEO-friendly site with optimal performance across all devices.

For content management, we integrated Contentful, a flexible and intuitive CMS that empowers the Supernaut team to manage and update their website content effortlessly. This integration provided the necessary agility to keep the site current and relevant without technical constraints. For video delivery, we incorporated Cloudinary, ensuring high-performance video streaming with fast load times and seamless playback. Cloudinary’s robust capabilities allowed us to efficiently manage and deliver media content, enhancing the overall user experience.

To enhance the user experience with dynamic visuals, we employed Greensock Animation Platform (GSAP). GSAP’s powerful animation tools allowed us to implement smooth, engaging transitions and animations, adding a layer of interactivity and sophistication to the website. Additionally, Tailwind CSS was used for styling, providing a utility-first approach that enabled efficient and precise design implementation, resulting in a visually cohesive and responsive site.
